Rastislav Sedlačík (1980) I studied at AFAD in Bratislava, where I also completed my post-gradual studies in 2011. My work, which is focused on painting, is continually expanding: paintings feature in the role of objects and include performative and time-lapse elements. At the same time, I presents my work with more complex models - as an installation or as a presentation. The central motifs of my works are nuances of urban landscape, housing estates, the intersection of urban environment with the natural landscape in the periphery, and the mutual relationship between architecture and painting.

Rastislav Sedlačík (1980) študoval som na VŠVU v Bratislave, kde som absolvoval doktorandské štúdium v roku 2011. Moja tvorba, ktorej základom je maľba, smeruje do rozšíreného poľa: obrazy vystupujú v pozícii objektov, vstupujú do nej nielen performatívne a časozberné prvky. Zároveň ju prezentujem komplexnejšími modelmi – ako inštaláciu či prostredie prezentácie. Ústredným motívom diel sú nuansy mestskej krajiny, sídlisk, no i prelínanie urbánneho prostredia s prírodnou krajinou v tzv. perifériách, zároveň však reprezentujú vzájomný vzťah medzi architektúrou a maľbou.
